FEBRUARY 2002 - SEPTEMBER 2005

CBBC gained a new look, along with the launch of the CBBC Channel on 11th February 2002. The basic yellow and black look was replaced by a series of bugs forming the presentaional elemets. The bugs were withdrawn on 30th September 2005.

IDENT - KICK

The bugs get up and kick.

IDENT - BLENDER

This is what happens when you swirl a bug around at high speed.

IDENT - CLIFF

In classic cartoon style, the bug falls off a 'cliff'.

IDENT - KNOTT

The bug gets himself in a knott, and explodes.

IDENT - SHOCK

The bug sees something that makes it's eyes pop out.

IDENT - VOLUME

The bug dances to music as the volume fluctuates.

IDENT - SPLAT

The bug hits the screen at high speed.

IDENT - ANIMADNESS

A special ident for the cartoons.

IDENT - CLASS TV

Schools programmes were introduced by this ident.
